10 Year Anniversary Catalina Island
Jan and I wanted to do something special for our ten year anniversary so we went to Catalina Island for 2 days. the last time we had been their was on our cruise wedding/honeymoon.
We stayed at the Pavilion which is the nicest hotel on the island. They didn't have our room ready when we got their so they upgraded us to their best suite. The room was great with plenty of room and a huge balcony overlooking the grounds. Every afternoon they served wine and cheese party and every morning a breakfast feast.
Our dinners were suburb. The first night we went to the Lobster Shack for Lobster and swordfish. The next evening was spent at Steve's Steak house enjoying rib-eye and filet mignon kabobs. For lunch Larry's Luau I had the buffalo burger while Jan enjoyed the fish and chips.
We only did 2 activities on the island. The submarine boat was fun and we can't wait to take the grand kids on it. we spent 2 hours driving a golf cart around the island taking in the scenery. We did spend a lot of time walking and relaxing around the areas close to town.
