Cabo Cruise

Jan and I, in need of a last minute vacation before school started again, took a quick cruise (4 day) down to Cabo Wabo and back. The cruise also happen to be the Sammy Hagar "Cabo Wabo Cruise". While we didn't get to participate in most of the group's special act ivies, it was a fun journey.

A large number of the passengers headed to Cabo Wabo as soon as we docked. Sammy was playing at the his place and everyone was trying to get in. It was too crowded for our tastes, so we did a snorkel tour to a bay south of us.

The snorkel tour took us to a protected bay about 5 miles south of Cabo. They served lunch and drinks on board. We snorkeled for a hour then headed back to Cabo San Lucas. the snorkeling was okay, not great, not bad. The water wasn't the clearest I have seen, and the fish aren't as colorful as other places we have been to. Of course the boat swings by Los Arcos for views of the arches and lovers beach. After cruising the area we headed back to the harbour. All in all we had a great time in Cabo and aboard the ship
