BTA Cruise 2013

The BTA had been doing the Carnival Cruise for so many years they decided to try Princess cruises. It was a good choice The Princess Sapphire was a beautiful boat and seemed to attract less more older people and less families. The food was a little better, especially the specialty houses. We opted for open dining which allows you to book at the different restaurants every night. I don't think there was as much night entertainment as the Carnival, but there was plenty to do.
In Puerto Vallarta we took a boat out to Las Maeritas Island. This is a bird sanctuary in the Bay of Bandaras. We snorkeled , saw whales, and spotted the rare blue footed booby bird.
This year we just shopped and ate in Cabo San Lucas. We stopped at Cabo Wabo so I could get my yearly tee-shirt and at one of the shops to pick up a coffee mug.
We took the bus in to town at Ensenada. After shopping and a quick bite , we headed back to the ship
