BTA Cruise 2006
This was the first BTA cruise I attended with Jan. It was fun exploring the ship and trying not to get lost. The Mexican Riviera Cruise goes to Puerto Vallarta, Matzalan, and Cabo San Lucas. I The best part about cruising is the food or quantity of food. I ate way too much, but kept finding room for more.
In Puerto Vallarta we went on the jungle tour which takes you through an area down by Mismaloya Beach. This is where they filmed the Predator movie and still had some of the props laying around. afterwards we went downtown Puerto Vallarta and visited the church and shops in the area.
I called a friend of my mom's, Gert, who lives in Matzalan. We met at her house , got in her car and she showed us the town. We stop at the golden zone and had Gert haggle a salesman over a tanzanite ring. Jan saved about 200 dollars.
We took a zodiac to chase the whales. This trip was the best for whale watching we got close to many breaching right in front of or boat. We walked around the marina before heading back to the ship.
