The Caribbean - Jamaica and Tulum
We have been to the Caribbean a couple of times. Our first trip to Tulum on western side of the Caribbean and another time to Jamaica. At both destinations we chose were all inclusive resorts, The Dreams Resort in Tulum and the Dunns River Resort in Janaica. Both had plenty restaurants , from casual buffets to formal French dining. There were plenty of activities at both places as well. while we don't drink, for those that do, all alcohol is free and readily available!.
Tulum was definatly warmer with much more humidity than Jamaica.
Tulum is located about 60 miles south of Cancun on the Riviera De Maya. Our resort called Dreams Tulum was beautiful
Jamaica has 3 or 4 resort areas. We chose the Ocho Rios area for our first visit, as there are a lot of local attractions. We stayed at the beautiful Dunns River Fall Resort located on the beach and close to lots of activties.
"Our next trip to the caribbean will probably be an Eastern Caribbean cruise, although we do prefer the All inclusive resorts."
