Second Trip Maui July 2009
Jan and I spent our summer vacation in Maui at the same condo in Kihei.
This is our 2rd trip to Maui and we still haven't explored it all. This time we stayed 9 days ( including travel days). We rented a condo in Kihei, which is a little less crowded than Maui's west shore. So we could enjoy the Road to Hana, we also rented a condo in Hana for 1 night and took our time driving there and Back. We visited some of our favorite snorkel spots and beaches and explored plenty of new ones. The luau at the Grand Wailea was a pleasant surprise. Jan wanted to kayak so we went on a 21/2 tour out of Makena Landing the morning of the big storm. The storm wasn't has bad as anticipated, but there was lots of lighting and rain.
